Better than the movie...obviously

This book is obviously and almost always is better than the movie.The movie wasn't as violent as the book,In fact if Miller had followed the sript this movie would have been rated R rather than PG-13.It is almost exactly the same as the movie with little things removed from them.Such as The Collector,In the movie he lives and in the novel,Aunty's tower falls on him.The movie also has the leg brace on his leg from "The Road Warrior" but is still a good reader.

Two Men Enter One Man Leaves

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome is the first Mad Max film I had seen and I watched the rest of them afterward. Thunderdome is much like some of the post-apocalyptic tales such as Incredible Tide by Alexander Key which made Miyazaki inspiration for Future Boy Conan, Castle in the Sky and Nausicaa the Valley of the Wind. How the survivors of the Nuclear War run a community? One community is called the Bartertown run by the methane energy from the pig feces. The other is the Tribe community which subsists on Hunter-gatherer method. First half of the story is quite amusing, particularly the way Bartertown runs is really an ecological, renewable energy Greenpeace might applaud. Peace is maintained by the law, though I don't get it why the fight must be "Two Men Enter One Man Leaves". The second half is the action sequence fighting with Aunty Entity force over diminutive man called Master who knows how to run the town. It is a nice read overall and nice novel adaptation of the movie.
Verdict: Post-Apocalyptic Tale

Obviously not the best in its series, but an extremely good story of the rediscovery of humanity in a heartwrenching world.
